Basketball Recap: Annapolis Skates Past Severn Run with Ease

On Tuesday, everything came up roses for the Annapolis Panthers against Severn Run as the squad secured a 53-26 victory. The matchup marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Annapolis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Melody Cordua, who posted 13 points and three steals. Cordua continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Mckenzie Fuller was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Annapolis was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Annapolis' victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Severn Run, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
