Basketball Recap: Clint Comes Up Short

Clint lost against Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 19-18 to the Warriors.

Dashni Hernandez was Clint's leading scorer, having posted five points. Vianney Mizcles held things down on the boards with ten rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Clint dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Clint didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 26-13 win against Harmony Science Academy on the 4th. As for Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 43-14 defeat against Parkland on the 4th.
