Football Recap: Taravella Takes a Loss

Taravella fell victim to Pompano Beach and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost to the Golden Tornadoes on the road by a 18-0 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 18-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

The critical scores for Pompano Beach came from Evie Burns, Gabriella Rodriguez, Alexandra Reyes, and Jordan Fletcher.

Taravella has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Pompano Beach, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-8.

Taravella does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pompano Beach, they will square off against Boynton Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Golden Tornadoes surely won't give up without a fight.
