Forge Christian skates past Basalt with ease

Recap: Forge Christian Fury vs. Basalt Longhorns
The Forge Christian Fury's's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 53-19 win over Basalt on the road. With Forge Christian ahead 30-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Forge Christian was led to victory by Finley Queen and Maxine Rossi. Queen scored 13 points along with six rebounds, while Rossi scored eight points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. The match was Queen's third in a row with at least ten points.
Forge Christian's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Basalt, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Forge Christian and Palisade will face off at 1:00 p.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Palisade presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Forge Christian in Colorado (Palisade is ranked 59th, while Forge Christian is ranked 202nd). Basalt won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Aspen at 7:00 p.m. on December 9th.
