Volleyball Recap: Hialeah Falls to Northwestern in First Game of Season

Hialeah unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Northwestern Bulls on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-18.

Leading Northwestern to victory were Da'Nay Murray and Jordin Haynes. Murray had 13 assists and seven aces, while Haynes had six kills and five digs.

Coming up, Hialeah will be playing in front of their home fans against Hialeah Educational Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Northwestern, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Central on the 18th.
