Softball Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Takes a Loss

Ashton-Franklin Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Orangeville Broncos. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 23-3 to the Broncos when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ashton-Franklin Center saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Bevan, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Ashton-Franklin Center's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Orangeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Ashton-Franklin Center will face off against Milledgeville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orangeville, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lena-Winslow at 4:30 p.m. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
