Basketball Game Preview: Lawrence County Bulldogs vs. Bishop England Battling Bishops

The Lawrence County Bulldogs and the Bishop England Battling Bishops will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lawrence County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

On Monday, Lawrence County earned a 71-60 win over Portsmouth.

Meanwhile, Bishop England was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 59-46 to Georgetown. That's two games in a row now that the Battling Bishops have lost by exactly 13 points.

Lawrence County's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Bishop England, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Lawrence County suffered a grim 56-36 defeat to Bishop England when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Lawrence County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
