Basketball Recap: Andrada Polytechnic Sets Scoring Season-High Against Lourdes Catholic

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Andrada Polytechnic). They came out on top against the Lourdes Catholic Warriors by a score of 62-52 on Saturday.

Andrada Polytechnic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chasen Lewellyn, who shot 75% from the field on his way to 19 points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, Lewellyn now owns an excellent 50% shooting accuracy. Brandon Hain-Basurto was another key player, going 5-for-7 en route to 15 points.

Andrada Polytechnic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Lourdes Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Andrada Polytechnic and Lourdes Catholic will both be playing Santa Rita the next time they take the court. The Mavericks will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
