Lorena has gone 9-1 against Marlin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lorena Leopards will welcome the Marlin Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Lorena will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Lorena's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Connally as Lorena made off with a 4-0 win.

Lorena hit Connally with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dale Hudspeth (2), Keaton Lenard, and Carson Miller.

Meanwhile, Marlin came up short against China Spring on Wednesday, falling 5-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marlin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Lorena, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Lorena beat Marlin by a goal in their previous matchup back in January, winning 1-0. Will Lorena repeat their success, or does Marlin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
