Grand Haven has gone 8-0-2 against East Kentwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Buccaneers will head out on the road to square off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Grand Haven is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.

Grand Haven's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over West Ottawa. That's two games straight that Grand Haven have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when East Kentwood duked it out with Hudsonville on Tuesday. The Falcons and the Eagles finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time East Kentwood have been dealt a draw since back in March.

Grand Haven pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those seven games. East Kentwood's draw gives them a new season record of 6-5-3.

Grand Haven skirted past East Kentwood 2-1 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
