Mecklenburg County's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Javontae Haskins was especially locked on to Lunenburg Central's QB and sacked him twice. Haskins also set a new season high mark in total tackles with seven.
The win got Martinsville back to even at 2-2. As for Mecklenburg County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
