Softball Recap: West Harrison's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but West Harrison unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Purvis Tornadoes by a score of 3-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 13-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

West Harrison saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miranda Parker, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

West Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Purvis, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

West Harrison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-3 loss against George County on the 25th. As for Purvis, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against Sumrall on the 25th.
