Basketball Recap: Middlesboro Takes a Loss

Middlesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 46-34 to the Harlan Green Dragons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-58 two weeks ago.

Middlesboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Harlan, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middlesboro won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against White Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harlan, they are taking a road trip to take on Knott County Central at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
