Baseball Recap: Seeger Comes Up Short

Seeger came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-0 to the McCutcheon Mavericks. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Seeger's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for McCutcheon, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seeger will host Attica at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Ramblers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.5 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for McCutcheon, they will welcome Brownsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
