Sinton's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lyford Bulldogs by a score of 8-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sinton's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Lyford, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sinton will host Calhoun at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Calhoun has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.85 runs per game on average), something Sinton will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lyford, they will welcome Santa Rosa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
