Recap: Hemet Bulldogs vs. Valley View Eagles
The Hemet Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 73-61 to Valley View. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hemet in their matchups with Valley View: they've now lost four in a row.
It was another big night for Charles Knight, who scored 36 points along with seven rebounds and four steals for Valley View. That makes it five consecutive games in which Knight has scored at least a third of Valley View's points. Maurice Lynch was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Hemet dropped their record down to 15-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Valley View, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.
Hemet will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Valley View at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Valley View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Monday. As for they, they will head out on the road to take on Hemet at 6:00 p.m.
