Hershey took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the Gibbon Buffaloes to the tune of 54-0. The Panthers pushed the score to 46-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Buffaloes had no chance of recovering from.

Cole Murdock threw for 88 yards and one touchdown. Jt Lantis was his top target, picking up 66 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Rhodee Hill rushed for 103 yards and one score.

Hershey is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Wood River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gibbon, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Cross County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
