Softball Recap: Oconto Falls Takes a Loss

Oconto Falls's last matchup with Denmark could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 12-3 to the Vikings. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Amelia Danielczak was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Katelyn Kurek was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Oconto Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Denmark, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Oconto Falls has already played their next contest, a 12-0 defeat against Fox Valley Lutheran on the 2nd. Denmark has also already played their next matchup (against Wrightstown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
