The matchup between East Noble and Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran on Thursday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Knights blew past the Cadets 18-2. Considering the Knights have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Shaye Ritchie was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Abby Alwine also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: East Noble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

East Noble's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Noble will take on Angola at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, they will be taking part in a tournament against Fremont at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
