Volleyball Recap: Bessemer City Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bessemer City lost against Highland Tech back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Rams, falling 3-0. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-5, 25-14.

Carsyn Redmond was the offensive standout of the contest as she had four digs and four aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Decker, who had seven digs and two assists.

Bessemer City's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Highland Tech, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bessemer City is set to face off against their familiar foe Stuart W. Cramer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Highland Tech will take on rival Cherryville at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday.
