Basketball Recap: Dreyfoos School of the Arts Takes a Loss

Dreyfoos School of the Arts won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They were beaten by the Inlet Grove Hurricanes 53-21. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 487th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 207th).

Dreyfoos School of the Arts has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Inlet Grove, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Royal Palm Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Inlet Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
