Baseball Recap: Sparta Takes a Loss

Sparta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Conway Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Sparta saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Snow, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that Snow has snagged this season.

Sparta now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Conway, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Looking ahead, Sparta will face off against Spokane at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Conway has already played their next game (against Richland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
