East's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonathan Bruce led the charge by shooting 5-for-9 from long range and dropping a double-double with 23 points and 15 boards. The matchup was Bruce's seventh in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Conway, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds.

East was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They are 7-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

East pushed their record up to 13-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games.
