Basketball Recap: Fellowship Baptist Academy Gets the Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Fellowship Baptist Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Spring Vale Academy 58-55. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their 22-point performance the contest before.

Hudson McAlvey was a one-man wrecking crew as he almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2024. Kolt Stone was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds.

The win got Fellowship Baptist Academy back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fellowship Baptist Academy will square off against Libertas Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spring Vale Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on CenterPoint Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 11th.
