Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Emma Gaut and Andie Ammons Lead Blacksburg to Victory

Blacksburg hadn't done well against Greenville Tech Charter recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Blacksburg walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Leading Blacksburg to victory were Andie Ammons and Emma Gaut. Ammons had ten digs and two aces, while Gaut had six assists and four digs.
