Northwest entered their tilt with Sergeant Bluff-Luton on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Warriors. Considering the Wolves have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Northwest pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will head out to square off against Waukee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, they are taking a road trip to take on Sioux City East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Black Raiders have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
