If Nordhoff was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Channel Islands last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers lost 3-0 to the Cate Rams on Tuesday. The Rangers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Nordhoff's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Cate, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nordhoff will venture away from home to challenge Carpinteria at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cate, they will square off against St. Bonaventure at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
