Roosevelt never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Granite Hills Grizzlies with a sharp 10-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rough Riders also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Not much got past Xamuel Cerrato, who gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks to keep Granite Hills off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brian Roberson, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3. Manny Molano was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Roosevelt's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.

Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-6 win against Farmersville on the 1st. As for Granite Hills, they have also already played their next match, an 11-6 loss against Lindsay on the 1st.
