Soccer Recap: Sapulpa Takes a Loss

Sapulpa was the 4-0 winner over Glenpool when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Glenpool who was credited with the victory on Thursday. Glenpool got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Sapulpa Chieftains' two.

Sapulpa's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Glenpool, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Sapulpa will venture away from home to square off against Edison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenpool, they will be taking part in a tournament against Collinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
