Woodsboro had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Kenedy Lions as they made off with a 13-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 13 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Woodsboro's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Kenedy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-12-1 record this season.
