After a string of ten wins, Gibson Southern's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evansville North Huskies. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Huskies when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mia Porter was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 11 contests.

Gibson Southern's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Evansville North, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Coincidentally, Gibson Southern and Evansville North will both be playing Terre Haute North Vigo the next time they take the court. The Huskies will head out to face the Patriots at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
