Football Recap: Hebron Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hebron lost against Guyer back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks were dealt a 44-16 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Wildcats are ranked 15th).

Guyer got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Corbin Glasco out in front who picked up 97 receiving yards and one score. Those 97 receiving yards gave Glasco a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zephyr Kreye, who threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 passes.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Guyer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hebron will challenge Little Elm at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Hawks will be up against the Lobos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Guyer, they will take on Marcus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
