Staley waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lee's Summit West Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since March 31st.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (100-98) Staley actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 15-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-6.

Cody Treadway paced Staley's offense, picking up 21 kills. Treadway got some help from Harrison Manivong and his 39 assists. Lawson Stuhlsatz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Staley's victory bumped their record up to 31-2. As for Lee's Summit West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-9-1.

Staley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lee's Summit West, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lincoln College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
