St. Christopher came tearing into Sunday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 68-55 victory over the Benedictine Cadets. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Cadets are ranked 147th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Christopher's pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Benedictine, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-8.
