Basketball Recap: Tabiona Skates Past Wendover with Ease

Tabiona waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They really took it to the Wendover Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-25 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Tabiona found their leader in freshman Khloie Pippy, who went 5 for 8 en route to 13 points. The dominant performance gave Pippy a new career-high in points. Taliya Allred was another key player, putting up six points.

Tabiona's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Wendover, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Manila the next time they take the court. Wendover will head out to face Manila at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Tabiona will host them at 5:30 p.m. on February 1st.
