It was a good run, but Sundance unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the Big Horn Rams. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Sundance's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Karly Marchant, who had 16 digs and two assists, and Blakely Gill, who had 30 digs. Gill has been hot, having posted 22 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Sundance's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 17-8. As for Big Horn, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sundance will challenge Moorcroft at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Big Horn, they will take on Natrona County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
