Baseball Recap: Port Washington Takes a Loss

Port Washington lost against Slinger back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates fell 5-2 to the Owls.

Port Washington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Webb, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Webb has hit this season.

Port Washington has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Slinger, their record now sits at 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Port Washington is set to face off against their familiar foe Whitefish Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Slinger will take on rival Grafton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
