Recap: Wabash Apaches vs. Eastern Comets

The Wabash Apaches scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Eastern 74-48. The win was nothing new for Wabash as they're now sitting on three straight.

Wabash got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Grant Ford out in front who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Izaak Wright, who scored 17 points.

Wabash pushed their record up to 11-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Eastern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wabash will take on Lewis Cass at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastern, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Taylor at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Taylor is ranked 227th, while Eastern is ranked 246th).
