Basketball Recap: Glencliff Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Glencliff Colts were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 1-0 to the Franklin Classical School Knights. The game marked the first time this year in which the Colts were not able to get on the board.

Glencliff dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Franklin Classical School, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Glencliff and Overton will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Franklin Classical School, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dayspring Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Franklin Classical School has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
