Shiner had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Falls City Beavers with a sharp 12-0 win on Thursday. The Comanches are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Shiner let Landyn Pohler and Jake Simper run wild. Pohler went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Simper went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Pohler a new career-high. Caleb Lehnert was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Shiner was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Shiner's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Falls City, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
