Prairie has gone a perfect 10-0 against Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Falcons will host the Timberwolves at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Prairie's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Heritage has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Prairie didn't have quite enough to beat Seton Catholic and fell 5-4.

Prairie got a good showing from Maddux Blunt, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. That's the fewest hits Blunt has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, Olin Cecil made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Isaac Watson was another key player, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Heritage didn't have quite enough to beat Mountain View on Thursday and fell 5-3.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Prairie skirted past Heritage 3-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
