Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Cleveland unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Providence Classical Paladins on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 16 in a row.

While Cleveland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-9, 25-7.

Looking ahead, Cleveland will be taking part in a tournament against Brazos at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence Classical, they are taking a road trip to take on Brazos Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
