Softball Recap: South Fort Myers Takes a Loss

South Fort Myers fell victim to Babcock and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Trailblazers, falling 17-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Wolfpack's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for South Fort Myers and nudges their season record down to 2-12. As for Babcock, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

South Fort Myers didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-2 loss against Bonita Springs on the 14th. As for Babcock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Southwest Florida Christian on the 21st.
