Clatskanie had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Heppner/Ione Mustangs by a score of 7-3 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but Clatskanie sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Topher McDonnell and Brendan Shroll did most of the damage at the plate: McDonnell scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Shroll scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
