Volleyball Recap: Smith Vo-Tech Continues Home Dominance on Friday

There's no place like home for Smith Vo-Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They won by a set and slipped past Springfield Renaissance 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since September 9th.

Smith Vo-Tech took Springfield Renaissance into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 24-26, 21-25, 20-18.

Smith Vo-Tech's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Springfield Renaissance, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Smith Vo-Tech and Springfield Renaissance should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings.
