IMG Academy Navy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Oasis Christian as IMG Academy Navy made off with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Ascenders, who have now won three contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Joonho Song made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Song was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other pitching news, Ryan Crowe tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Omari Swinton was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jeffrey Nepa, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Lakewood can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against Boca Ciega by a score of 4-1.
Lakewood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Fowler, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That run marked the first that Fowler scored this season. Xavier Terrell was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
IMG Academy Navy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs over those games. As for Lakewood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
