Volleyball Recap: TERRA Environmental Gets the Win

TERRA Environmental won the last time they faced Sunset and things went their way on Tuesday too. TERRA Environmental narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Sunset 3-2.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was TERRA Environmental who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-27, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13.

LAYLA REYHANI was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 17 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave her a new career-high. MIKAYLA HARRIS also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

TERRA Environmental's record is now 12-5. As for Sunset, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Coincidentally, TERRA Environmental and Sunset will both be playing Braddock the next time they take the court. TERRA Environmental will host Braddock at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Sunset will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
