After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakota West, Sycamore was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Colerain Cardinals by a score of 2-0. Given Sycamore's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Colerain are ranked 204th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Colin Kmet and Tre Vitullo scored both of Sycamore's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Sycamore is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Colerain, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 4-3-2.

Sycamore has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Loveland on the 13th. As for Colerain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Taylor on the 15th.
