Basketball Recap: Middleton Takes a Loss

Middleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Verona Wildcats, falling 52-30. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Middleton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Verona, their victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Middleton Cardinals face off against the Janesville Craig Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Verona, they will head out on the road to challenge Sun Prairie West at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
