Basketball Game Preview: MacArthur Cardinals vs. Pearce Mustangs

The MacArthur Cardinals will take on the Pearce Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, MacArthur lost to Berkner on the road by a 52-35 margin. The Cardinals have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Pearce unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 59-34 to Richardson.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Pearce, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-11.

MacArthur was taken down by Pearce 54-25 in their previous matchup on January 3rd. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Pearce's Tatum Vroonland, who went 8 for 15 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.
